Volunteer Opportunities

  DRIVERS
Drivers deliver meals using their own cars. They provide a friendly contact with each client. Drivers report to the kitchen by 11:00 AM. It usually takes less than an hour to complete each route. Regular drivers run their route once a week. Substitute drivers are called as needed.
 
 

KITCHEN
Volunteers assist in the preparation, serving and packaging of meals. They generally work from 8:30 AM until 12:00 noon. There are also some afternoon opportunities that require additional volunteers.

Regular kitchen volunteers work one day a week and substitute workers are called as needed. Volunteers are welcome to share in the hot meal of the day.
 
  OFFICE
Office assistance is needed from 9:00 AM until 12:00 noon. Numerous clerical jobs are available such as:

  • Filing
  • Light Data Entry
  • Copying
  • Mailings
